GODencounters is a movement of young adults who are wholeheartedly seeking a 24/7 experience of GOD, recklessly living for His renown.
Daring to deepen intimacy with God, GODencounters gives focus to seven discipleship themes where practices of the Christian faith are emphasized.
“We prayed GODencounters would be a catalyst for deep, personal experiences with GOD,” asserts co-founder Jeff Gang. “[GODencounters is] not an act or a program, but an everyday, every moment way of living.” GODencounters aims to deepen devotion to Jesus by developing disciples, walking recklessly in His footsteps.
Our desire is to:
• live lives of Worship.
• be agents of present Gospel.
• Gracefully express compassion.
• Pray without ceasing.
• embrace Sabbath as soul CPR.
• Morph into His likeness.
• celebrate in Jubilee.
Through holy gatherings and private worship, GODencounters is living out this seven-precept discipleship curriculum. In cyberspace and real time, young adults are returning to the heart of GOD, growing a movement of GODfollowers; pursuing GODencountered lives, 24/7.
“I have felt far from God for a while now, and in need of spiritual renewal and counsel,” shares Humanities and Environmental Studies major, Stephanie Cato, age 22. “I embraced the practical advice at GODencounters and, through the Holy Spirit, have put my feet and eyes back on the path.” Return to the heart of God.

Worship: THEME Camp Mtg. '08 24/7 Worship
It is our desire to experience the presence of the Living God 24/7. Beyond religious rituals expressed occasionally, we’re learning to worship GOD as a way of living life.
Gospel: '09: THEME Camp Mtg. '09 Living Grace
It is our desire to experience the power of GOD’s everlasting gospel. We’re learning, again or for the first time, the good news that Kingdom living begins now. Today is one more day in eternity, and I live in that new reality.
Grace: '10: THEME Camp Mtg. '10 Incredible Journey
It is our desire to share the eternal reality of GOD’s grace. We’re learning to live in GOD’s grace in every area of life – focusing on helping each other experience GOD’s grace in all human relationships and social structures. Compassion is the ethos of Christ-like community.
Prayer: 11
It is our desire to experience the presence and power of the living GOD through a life of prayer. We’re learning to seek deep intimacy with God continually, without ceasing. Prayer and meditation shape our lifestyle.
Sabbath: '12
It is our desire to experience GOD’s Sabbath rest on the 7th day and beyond. We’re learning to make the invisible Spirit tangible in the visible realm. Rest, God’s restoration and renewal, forms the rhythm of life. We desire GOD to “re-create” His Spirit in us.
Morphing: '13
It is our desire to experience the presence of the Living God in all that we are, in all that we do, and in all that we say. We’re learning to live a life of integrity like our Lord and Savior Jesus--becoming apprentices of the Master Teacher. GOD is changing us from the inside out.
Jubilee; '14
It is our desire to experience the joy of the Living God in all that we are, in all that we do, and in all that we say. We’re learning to live a life of joyous celebration because of our Lord and Savior Jesus--rejoicing and joining in His delight. We live life in the reality of
GOD’s victory.
